Attention all 10th graders and 11th graders taking the PSATs on Wednesday: Remember to bring #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils) and a snack. In addition, this is a reminder that you are not allowed to bring cell phones into your testing room.
Attention all high school students who have lockers on the second floor from the double doors down to Coach Haga’s room: This part of the hallway will be closed on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. Make sure you do not need anything from your locker during those times. You must carry anything you need for 1st thru 5th (including your lunch if you bring lunch) on Wednesday.
Seniors: Lynchburg College will be at WC for an On Site Admission Visit on Oct.27– 1:00 p.m. You must have the following information ready on that day: Completed application, SAT scores, and transcripts. Transcript request forms need to be turned in to the Guidance Department prior to the meeting. Sign up in guidance by Oct. 22 if you plan to attend.
Any girl in grades 8-12 interested in playing softball this year, please sign up today with Coach Smith in HS 201 or the AD Office. Eighth grade players can see Coach Rutledge in the MS. Coach Smith will also be in the cafeteria during I/E time for you to come by and sign up.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Schools, organizations and communities are raising awareness of bullying prevention and teaching students how to respond effectively to bullying situations. Each day on the morning announcements a bullying prevention tip will be read to the student body.
