Attention Students Grades 8-11: Are you interested in traveling to the Dominican Republic? Come to the interest meeting on Tuesday, April 26th at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium to find out more information and how to sign-up! All rising 8-12th grade girls interested in Cheerleading for the 2016-17 school year are asked to report to the Auditorium on Thursday, April 21st during I/E to pick up the JV and Varsity Cheerleading rules packet. Please see Ms. Crabtree if you have questions.
High School Students: A list of students who will be recognized for honor roll and principal list in May has been posted in the halls next to the English teacher’s classrooms. To be included on this list you must have been on either the honor roll or principals list for three consecutive nine weeks. If you have met this criteria, but are not listed, please see Mrs. Maxey by April 29th to add your name.
Attention Seniors: The guidance office has posted the 2016 William Campbell Community Scholarships. Please see WC’s website for more information. Deadline to apply is May 2nd.
Attention Middle School Students: Spring pictures will be Wednesday, April 20th. Pictures are pre-pay only. Please plan accordingly.
Attention Juniors: All juniors who will be taking the SAT test are encouraged to take advantage of a free SAT Prep Class being offered here at WC on April 19th & 20th. All aspects of the SAT will be covered including English, Reading, the Essay and both Math Sections. Test taking strategies will also be included in the session. The class will review essential grammar strategies for the English portion of the test, as well as ways to prepare for the Reading section. Math assistance will include ways to help students learn which way is most effective for the calculator and non-calculator sections of the test. The classes will run after school, from 3:00-4:30.
