All AG I classes are to come to the AG class and not the computer lab.


Attention girls interested in volleyball:  The Virginia Tech Camp is right around the corner.  All girls need to be signed up no later than May 30th.  See Mrs. Martin for details.  Registration can be done online.  Camp is held here at WC on July 22-24. 


The track meet has been rescheduled for tomorrow at Appomattox.  Practice is today for sprinters and distance.   Throwers do not have practice today. 


Attention Driving Range Students:  April Driving Range is canceled. Any student needing driving range needs to see Mrs. Martin for the last range in June.


Virginia Private College Week will be July 27-August 1. If you visit at least three participating campuses, CICV will send you 3 free application fee waivers to use to apply to any three participating Virginia private colleges for free.  Campbell County Branch NAACP will award three scholarships in the amount of $500 each to Campbell County high school seniors graduating in 2015.   Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA or better and enrolled in an accredited college or university.  Two letters of recommendation is required.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office and should be returned to Guidance no later than May 18th.


Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. scholarship will be awarded to a deserving African American high school senior based on academic achievement, community service and acceptance to a four year college.  Applications are in Guidance.  Deadline to return application is May 2nd.


There will be a senior council meeting on Thursday, April 23 in the cafeteria during I/E time.

MS pictures will be taken today on a prepay basis only.  You must have your money to have them taken.  Any questions please see Mrs. Hancock.


High School Students:  A list of students who will be recognized for honor roll and principal list at the awards ceremony has been posted in the halls next to the English teacher’s classrooms. To be included on this list you must have been on either the honor roll or principal list for three consecutive nine weeks. If you meet the criteria please check the list and make sure your name has been added. 


Seniors:  The sign-up sheet for the senior banquet is posted on Mr. Marano’s door.  Please sign-up if you are attending.


Senior banquet money is due to Mrs. Dunn by May 6th.


Did you know that April 1st is National One Cent Day?  Well William Campbell is going to make everyone aware of National One Cent Day by celebrating the whole month with a Penny Drive.  All funds collected will go back to your grade level as your class fundraiser for the year.  Monies collected will help pay for field trips, prom and even graduation.  Starting today, please give your pennies to your English teacher.  The class that raises the most money by the end of April will be treated to a pizza party for lunch.


William Campbell High school is excited to announce that the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade classes will be going on a field trip to the North Carolina Zoo in Ashboro on Wednesday, May 27.  While at the zoo, students will be able to connect with wildlife from two different continents as they explore 500 acres of exhibits carefully constructed to resemble natural habitats.  They will have face-to-face animal encounters as they walk from Africa’s grasslands to North America’s Arctic coast.  Not only will they have the opportunity to discover more than 1,600 animals and 52,000 plants along the five miles of shaded pathways, students will also learn how the zoo works to conserve and protect wild things and wild places.  The cost of the trip is $25 per student which will include admission to the park and chartered bus ride.  Students will need to bring money to purchase lunch at the zoo.  The cost will be split into two payments, $15 for the first which will be due May 1 and $10 for the final payment due May 15.  Payments may be paid in full if preferred but must be paid by the first deadline.  Checks need to be made out to WCCS.  Please contact Dr. Jordan with any questions or concerns.
