There will be no tennis practice today, Monday, April 3rd.


The baseball and softball games scheduled for today, Monday, April 3rd have been moved to Tuesday, April 4th (times and locations will remain the same).


Congratulations goes out to our middle school baseball team on their 12-1 win against Altavista on Thursday, March 30th. Great job!!

Sign-ups are now available for the April Driving Range. Please sign up on HS Room 103. See Mrs. Martin if you have questions.


Talent Show!! Do you have a special talent that you’d like to share? Then sign up for WC’s Got Talent! The talent show will be on Tuesday, May 2nd at 6:30 p.m. immediately following parent/teacher conferences. Practice times in the auditorium will be available during I/E – Please see Mr. Ayers for details.


An interest meeting will be held in the auditorium during I/E on Wednesday, April 5th for any 7th thru 11th grade students interested in trying out for the JV or Varsity Cheerleading squad.


The WC Booster Club will be hosting an 8th grade prom on Saturday, May 20th from 8-11:00 pm. The cost to attend is $10 per student. Make checks payable to WCHS Booster Club.


Attention Middle School students: Please continue to collect money for our Hoops for Heart event on April 7th. Envelopes are due April 5th.


Attention Students: Prom tickets are now on sale in the main office – tickets are $25. After prom will be held again at Putt-Putt this year. Please sign-up on Mrs. Pritt’s door if you plan to attend. *Date forms for non-WC students are in the office. Deadline to turn in forms is April 7th. All school debt must be paid before tickets may be purchased. See Mrs. Hanson if you have questions.


Attention Seniors: The Guidance Office has received information on the following scholarship: Brookneal Lions Club Scholarship. Deadline to apply is May 1st.


The last Blood Drive for this school year will be held here at WC on Wednesday, April 5th from 11-3 pm. Please see Mrs. Faulconer if you would like to donate.


Attention Ladies attending Prom: If you are in need of a dress, please see Mrs. Pritt in Room #106. We have lots of dresses available that have been donated.
