Attention Seniors: If you are applying to colleges with a deadline prior to January 15, 2016 you will need to submit your request for a transcript (the blue colored WCCS College Application Checklist form) to Mrs. Maxey by December 11th. If you do not, we cannot guarantee that your transcript will make it to that college before the application deadline.

Congratulations to the WC Varsity Cheerleaders on taking 2nd place in the Civics category at the Brookneal Christmas Parade last night!

 

If you are interested in joining the Debate Club please see Mr. Cheatham for details. Sign-up sheets will be on Mr. Cheatham’s door and an interest meeting will be held next Thursday, December 10th from 3:00-4:00 in Mr. Cheatham’s room.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: A representative from Virginia Technical Institute will be here on Wednesday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m. Sign up in Guidance by Tuesday if you plan to attend this meeting.

 

Attention: Mr. Turner and Mr. Schools will be conducting after-school SOL study sessions from November 30-December 9th. The purpose of these sessions is to prepare students for the December 10th testing. However, anyone wanting extra help with Earth Science or Biology is welcome to attend. The schedule is posted outside of Mr. Turner’s door.

 

Attention Seniors: The guidance office has received information for applying for the Virginia State Golf Association Scholarship. Please see WC’s website for more information. Deadline to apply is February 19th.
