Attention Students who missed the CVCC English placement test due to not having applied to CVCC: We are able to offer that test again on Tuesday, February 19th. Please sign up in Guidance. Remember, you need to take both portions of the test if you are planning on taking a dual enrollment class next year.

Are you a rising high school junior, senior or recent graduate? This summer, YOU can WORK with, TRAIN with and be MENTORED by the Framatome Operations and Engineering Staff!! Register now for Framatome's Summer Institute of Technology and Engineering open house and information session to be held on Thursday, February 21st from 6:30-8:00 pm. Congratulations to Zekeya Townes for his win in the Region 2B shot put competition. He will advance to states next week.


Baseball and Softball tryouts start Monday, February 18th. Tryouts are for grades 8-12. Please be on the field and ready by 3:10 pm. *You must have a current physical in order to tryout.

The girls tennis team starts practicing this week. Please turn in your physical forms and be ready to meet after school on Wednesday.

This is a reminder to 10th graders that permission forms to attend the field trip to the tech center on March 1st are due by Friday, February 15th. There is a box right outside of Guidance for you to return your forms.

The next driving range will be held February 18-22. A sign up sheet is posted on Coach Glover's door. $100 payment is due no later than February 15th. The first (14) students to sign up will go.

Attention students 14 years and older:  Would you like to be paid $500 to live in the woods for 3 weeks?  If you love the outdoors and are interested in possibly working in a career such as becoming a game warden, a conservationist, or similar occupations, this is the summer program for you.  Must be a hard worker.  If interested in the details, please see Mrs. Faulconer for more information.
