There will be a Beta Club meeting Monday, February 17th after school in the library.

Attention Baseball Players: Baseball tryouts will start Monday, February 24th. Those trying out should report to the field house immediately after school. Please note: If you plan on trying out, you will need to have a current physical on file or you will not be allowed to participate in any way.

The prom committee will be selling carnations during lunches starting Monday, Feb. 10th. They will be $2 a piece and will be delivered on Valentine's Day!

The senior class will be selling $1 tickets for the 1/2 court shot competition that will take place Friday at the Pep Rally. Tickets will be sold during lunches and the last opportunity to purchase will be Friday, Feb. 14th.

Attention Seniors: The guidance office has received information for applying for the following scholarships:     
  • Campbell Co. Farm Bureau Scholarship
  • Kyle E. Thornhill Sr. Scholarship
  • Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Founders' Centennial Scholarship

Attention Seniors: First National Bank would like to host one or two seniors at their Bank Day, scheduled for March 17th. This is a wonderful opportunity for seniors to learn about the different career opportunities in banking as well as have an opportunity to win up to $5,000 in scholarship funds. If you are interested in attending bank day please see Mrs. Faulconer for more information.

Attention middle school students: Are you interested in the medical field? Centra’s summer Medical Careers Camp may be what you’re looking for! The camp provides hands-on activities and introduces students to the world of healthcare careers. Some of the activities may include: Cardiology, CPR/First Aid, Nursing Skills, Nutrition Services, Pharmacy and Math, Respiratory Therapy and more. Applications are due by April 24th. Attention students 14 years and older: Would you like to be paid $500 to live in the woods for 3 weeks? If you love the outdoors and are interested in possibly working in a career such as becoming a game warden, a conservationist, or similar occupations..... this is the summer program for you! Must be a hard worker. If interested in the program or want more details, please see Mrs. Faulconer in HS Guidance. Deadline to apply is March 5, 2020.


Attention all 11th graders: The SAT will be given at WCCS on March 25th. Please note that ALL 11th graders will be taking this test for free and do not need to sign up. SAT Prep sessions are being held at various times over the next several weeks. We encourage you to attend.
