Attention Softball Players: Bracelet forms and money are due to Mrs. Pritt by Friday, February 21st.

Attention students in grades 8-12: William Campbell is putting on a play at the end of the year! If you want to be involved in any way, please see Ms. Hase or Mr. McWilliams. We need actors as well as behind the scene helpers. We are accepting students in grades 8-12. There is a sign-up sheet for auditions outside of Ms. Hase's door. Auditions are taking place this Thursday and next Tuesday. Please ask Mr. McWilliams or Ms. Hase if you have any questions or need to request an alternative time for your audition.

Girls Tennis will start conditioning on Wednesday, February 19th. You must have a physical on file or bring the up to date form with you. Come dressed to work out in HS Room 208. Conditioning will run from 3:00-4:30.

Attention Baseball and Softball Players: Tryouts will start on Monday, February 24th. Those trying out should report to the field house immediately after school. If you plan on trying out you MUST have a current physical on file or you will not be allowed to participate in any way. *Middle School Softball -- Tryouts will begin February 24th from 6:00-8:00 pm. You will need to leave school and get a ride back for tryouts.

Attention Seniors: The guidance office has received information for applying for the following scholarships:
  • The Granville P. Meade Scholarship
  • The Providence Baptist Church Scholarship
  • The Brookneal Lions Club Scholarship
  • The Brookneal Woman’s Club Scholarship

Attention all 11th graders: The SAT will be given at WCCS on March 25th. Please note that ALL 11th graders will be taking this test for free and do not need to sign up. SAT Prep sessions are being held at various times over the next several weeks. We encourage you to attend. For any questions about SAT test day or prep sessions, please see Ms. Mills or Mrs. Dalton in guidance.

Attention 10th graders: Are you interested in exploring Health Care Careers? Centra’s summer Health Career Camp may be what you’re looking for! The camp provides hands-on activities and introduces students to the world of healthcare careers. Some of the activities may include: Cardiology, Medical Laboratory and Pathology, Nursing, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy and more. Applications are due by April 17th.
