Attention 11th graders who plan to apply to CVCC next year to enroll in one of the following programs: Criminal Justice, Cyber Security, Health Sciences, HVAC, Welding, Machine Shop, EMS/Fire or EMT: There will be an important meeting held at the tech center this month. Students may choose to attend either a meeting on January 14th at 8 p.m. or on January 16th at 6:30 p.m. It is very important that you attend one of these meetings. Please see Mrs. Dalton if you have questions.

Attention 10th grade students enrolled in Pre-AP Algebra II/Trig, Pre-AP Calculus or EMF: Applications for the Central Virginia Governor's School and the Early College Program are now available from Mrs. Dalton. Applications should be picked up no later than January 15th.

William Campbell will be hosting a Blood Drive on Thursday, January 16th. Please consider donating! See Ms. Bondurant in H102 to sign up.

Attention Seniors: The Guidance Office has received information for applying for the following scholarships –

  • The Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation Scholarship
  • The Fray Family Charitable Trust Scholarship
  • The William C. Folkes Scholarship

The January driving range will be held January 27-31. Sign up outside of Coach Glover's classroom. $100 payment is due by January 24th.

Attention Juniors: The Guidance Office has received information for applying for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. *Eight students will be chosen by Southside Electric Cooperative (SEC) to attend an all-expenses paid trip to the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. (June 21-25, 2020). Highlights of the trip include visiting the U.S. Capitol, dinner cruise on the Potomac River, attending a Washington Nationals game, and much more! Any high school junior who lives and attends school within SEC's service area is eligible to apply. Competition includes filling out an application, submitting a written essay, and participating in an interview with a Southside Electric representative.
