The FFA will meet for contest practice on Thursday, January 17th directly after school.


Students going to the January driving range need to turn in money no later than Thursday, January 17th, or you will lose your spot.


Campbell County is holding an interest meeting for 11th graders and their parents who wish to attend CVCC next year. Meetings will be held on January 15th at 8:00 pm at the tech center and on January 17th at 6:30 pm at the tech center. Attending one of these meetings is very important if you are applying to one of the programs at CVCC next year.

 

Applications are now available to 11th graders who want to attend CVCC next year as seniors. Applications must be picked up from Mrs. Dalton by January 25th. All applications MUST be returned by February 27th. If you wish to be considered for the following programs you must complete an application in addition to taking the CVCC placement test: Health Sciences, EMT, EMS, HVAC, Welding, Machine Tool, Cyber Security or Criminal Justice. Again, please see Mrs. Dalton for an application.

 

Attention 10th graders who are in Pre-AP Algebra II/Trig or Pre-Calculus: Applications for the Early College Program and the Central Virginia Governor's School are now available from Mrs. Dalton in the counseling office. Please let her know if you wish to be considered and she will put together an application packet for you. All applications must be picked up by January 17th. Qualifying scores on the CVCC placement test are required to apply.

 

Attention 10th graders who are interested in applying to the STEM Academy. Please see Mrs. Dalton to pick up an application no later than January 17th. You must have taken the CVCC placement test to be considered.

 

Attention Seniors: Please visit the school’s website under the school counseling scholarship section for information on many new scholarships that have recently been added including several offered by the VHSL and many other local organizations.  For more information, please see Mrs. Faulconer in the HS Guidance Office.

 

WCCS will be holding a blood drive on Friday, January 25th. Please see Ms. Robson or a Beta member if you are interested in helping save a life.
