The Herff Jones class ring representative will be here on Monday and Tuesday, March 23 and 24 during lunches in the cafeteria taking official William Campbell High School class ring orders.  You are also invited to attend the parent/student order night that will be held on Monday evening, March 23 from 3:00-6:00 in the main lobby.  A small deposit is required to place your ring order.

 

There will be a FCA meeting on Thursday afterschool in Mr. Heath’s room from 3-3:30.  All are welcome.

 

Money for the March driving range is due today, March 18.

 

Picture flyers for prom packages are in the main office on the counter.

 

Kids Chance of Virginia, Inc. was founded in 2011 with the goal of awarding academic scholarships to deserving children who have been adversely impacted by the work-related injury of a parent. More information can be found at www.kidschanceva.org.  Applications are available in the guidance office.  Deadline to apply is April 27.

 


Exchange Club of Lynchburg will award a one-time scholarship of $1000 to a graduating senior based on financial need and scholastic achievement. Applications are available in guidance. Deadline to apply is April 27th.


 

Event Zone is offering three $1000 scholarships to area high school seniors who are pursuing a minor or major in the fine arts (music, dance, theatre, visual arts). Applicants will be considered based on dedication to learning and practicing their art, commitment to a future in the arts, level of skill in art form, self-expression in words and art, and personal responsibility in art and life. It is not a financial need scholarship.  Applications are in guidance. Deadline to apply is May 11.



Prom tickets will go on sale Wednesday morning.  The cost of each ticket is $25.  Please see Mr. Cheatham or Marano to purchase.  Also if there is any junior or senior who failed to sign up for prom and wishes to attend see Mrs. Dunn ASAP.

 


Students attending prom; there is a song box located in the cafeteria.  Please fill out the slips with your song selections and drop in the box. 

 


You’re in luck high and middle school.  The yearbook price of $55 has been extended through April 3-this is no April Fool’s joke.  Please reserve your copy today and see Mrs. McGuire in room 110 for the first combined school yearbook.


 

Any student attending prom whose date is not from WC should pick up a guest form from the main office.  All applications are due back by April 4th.
