Today is the first day of Virginia's College Application Week. Many colleges and universities will be providing college application fee waivers so seniors can apply to college for free. Mrs. Dalton will be providing support to seniors all week in high school computer lab 202. Seniors are welcome to visit the lab to work on applications as long as they have a pass from their teachers. In honor of this week, all high school and middle school students will also have the opportunity to win $5 gift cards! More information will be announced tomorrow on how to win!

The last call for the Photo Booth Friends' pictures will be next Monday-Tuesday. Gift cards will be drawn on Monday, November 25th.

Attention Seniors: Banker Steel is one of the top manufacturing and construction employers in our region and they are starting a 12-week Welding Apprenticeship Program in January. There will be an informational meeting held on November 19th during I/E in the auditorium. Please see Mrs. Dalton if you have questions or would like more information.

Attention 10th graders who plan on applying to the Early College Program, the Central Virginia Governor's School or the STEM Academy: The CVCC placement test, which is required for all three programs, will be given at WC on December 3rd and 4th. In addition, 11th graders who would like to attend CVCC next year for programs such as HVAC, Health Sciences, Criminal Justice, Cyber Security, EMT/EMS or Welding may also test at this time.
