Attention Juniors and Seniors:  Mary Baldwin will be here on Sept. 29 at 9:00 to meet with interested students.  Sign up in Guidance be Sept. 28 if you plan to attend.

Spirit Week 2017 is next week!  Be sure to dress everyday day and show your school spirit.

On Friday, Sept. 29, in partnership with First Lady Dorothy McAuliffe and the Commonwealth Council on bringing the Nutritional Divide, volunteers across Virginia will come together to fight against hunger for the first ever Feed Virginia Day of Action.  As part of thr initiative, WC will be offering a free school breakfast to all students tomorrow.

Attention students and teachers:  this is the last week to order your Dig Pink tshirts from the volleyball players. All orders are due by Friday.

The Herff Jones representative will be here on Thursday, Oct. 5 during lunches in the cafeteria, taking your senior graduation products and cap and gown orders.  Please stop by and order your cap and gown. A small deposit is required with your order.

Attention 10 & 11 Graders:  The PSAT’s will be given on Wednesday, Oct. 25.  All 10 graders are required to take the test.  The cost is free for 10 graders.  Any 11 grader who wishes to take this test may sign up with Mrs. Faulconer in the Guidance Office.  The cost for the test is $16 but fee waivers are available if you meet certain guidelines such as receiving free or reduced lunch.  11 graders who wish to sign up must do so by Oct. 12.  A limited number of test are available to 11 graders so first come, first served.  11 graders who take the PSATs may possibly qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.  Please touch base with Mrs. Dalton if you have any questions.

Schools around the nation and throughout the Commonwealth will be celebrating National School Lunch Week Oct. 9-13.  The year’s theme, School Lunch: Recipes For Success, is designed to invite students, parents, school staff, and administrators to celebrate school meals.   More information about the National School Lunch Program can be found on the USDA website at https://www.fns.usda.gov/nslp/national-school-lunch-program-nlsp.

Attention Baseball Players:  All Little Caesars orders and money are due to Coach Haga by Monday October 2.

Attention all rising 10, 11, and 12 graders.  Campbell County Schools and Oakes Test Prep will be providing free SAT Prep for students on Sept. 30, 8:30-10:30, Oct. 21, 8:30-10:30, Oct. 28, 1:00-3:00, and Nov. 11, 8:30-10:30.  If you have any questions about the workshops, please call (434) 426-1204 or email Oakestestprep@aol.com.
