There will be an FFA meeting immediately after school tomorrow -- Thursday, Sept. 6th. Please have your ride here by 4:00pm.

Attention 10th and 11th graders:  The PSATs will be held on October 10th. All 10th graders will be taking this test for free and do not need to sign up.  Any 11th grader who would also like to take the PSAT must sign up in the Guidance office by Wednesday, September 21st. The cost for 11th graders to test is $16. However, some fee waivers are available on a first come, first serve basis.  11th graders should take the PSAT if they are college bound as it also serves as a scholarship competition and prepares students for the SATs in the spring.  Please see Mrs. Faulconer in the counseling office to register. Be aware that there is no make-up testing date for the PSATs.

Attention Seniors: The SATs (without the essay) will be offered for free to all seniors on Wednesday, October 10th.  Signing up is easy!  All seniors need to do is come by the school counseling office to sign up. You do NOT need to sign up using a college board account. All seniors need to sign up by September 20th.  This is a great opportunity to take your SATs without having to test on a Saturday and will save you $48.  Sign up today!

Homecoming Court Nominations: Homecoming voting will be different this year. We will be taking nominations for boys and girls in each grade. Nominations will take place September 4-7 outside Mrs. Pritt’s door. A vote will then take place the following week. Please see Mrs. Pritt if you have any questions.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: Fall SAT prep classes will be held at WC during school hours on the following dates:

Sept 10th (8:00 am-9:45 am)

Sept 13th (11:37 am-1:11 pm)

Sept 20th (1:15 pm-2:50 pm)

Sept 27th(9:45 am-11:04 am)

Prom Committee: Any Junior or Senior interested in being on the Prom Committee needs to pick up an application from Mrs. Pritt or Mrs. Harris. Applications are due by Friday, September 7th.

Attention 11th and 12th graders: On September 12th there will be a college fair at Heritage High School where up to 50-75 college admissions offices will be present. This is a great way to learn about different colleges and explore your options. We will be able to provide a bus for students who wish to attend. The bus will leave promptly at 5:30pm and return around 8:00pm. You MUST sign up in Guidance if you want to ride the bus. Only students may ride the bus, but parents are welcome to meet us at Heritage HS.

Attention Students: Remember to get your WC Yearbook for the low price of $35 through October 19th.
