Driver Education

William Campbell students receive Driver Education during 10th grade PE classes held in the fall. More information regarding Driver Education in Virginia can be found here.

Students may choose to receive direct driving training by attending classes at the county's driving range and behind-the-wheel direct instruction. Some students elect to receivetheir direct instruction from a private driving school. Attending a private driving school is at the student's expense. A list of driving schools can be found here.

After completion of the program and meeting the legal age requirement, your student's driver's license will be issued by the school counseling office. The parent and student must both be present to pick up a driver's license. The parent must have his or her license with them when picking up student's license.
